Our Vision

Work has now started on the ambitious redevelopment of our 19th Century building in order that we can provide an adaptable Worship Centre and other essential facilities more appropriate for our service to the community in the 21st Century. This is the culmination of almost 10 years of searching, dreaming, planning and praying, and will be completed by September 2008.

In commiting ourselves financially to such a significant investment (over £500k), we have had to be certain that our vision is aligned with the changing needs of society today. We have particularly focussed on:

• Worship - increasing our awareness of God's presence and celebrating God's love.
• Learning and Caring - to help us grow in our Christian faith so that we may better support others.
• Service - using our resources to be good neighbours to people in need, and challenging injustice.
• Evangelism - working out our faith in our daily lives and sharing Christ with others.

We would be keen to learn of your experience or views, particularly regarding alternative forms, styles and times of Worship, and of adapting premises for fuller use by the community. We would be grateful if you will contact us to help us in fully realising this vision.
